The process for All-On-4 Dental Implants in Twyford
Consultation
At your initial consultation, we will talk through what you want to achieve with new teeth. Your mouth and teeth will be examined, and you will be given x-rays.
Dental implant surgery
On the day of your dental implant surgery, you will be given a local anaesthetic at the Dental Implant Centre in Twyford. This will mean that you will be awake, but you won’t be able to feel anything. If you have any failing teeth, they will be extracted at this stage.
Four dental implants will then be placed into your upper or lower jawbone. Once the surgery is complete, a temporary bridge will be attached to your implants which hold the new set of prosthetic teeth. You will be able to leave the surgery with a new smile.
Healing period
Your gums and mouth will need to heal, and we will wait to ensure that your all-on-4 dental implants have fused to your jawbone. This stage can take 2 to 6 months. During this time, we will prepare your custom-made bridge.
Your custom-made bridge will be fitted which will give you a stunning smile.
