GDC No: 178174

BDS (London), MJDF (RCS England)

Dr. Himesh Patel qualified from King’s College London in 2009. Since then he has worked in practices in both Sheffield and London gaining a good scope of experience. He completed his MJDF (RCS England) qualification in 2011 and is currently studying his Clinical Masters in Implantology with the City of London University.

Himesh is enthusiastic about providing the best care possible and is a patient and caring dentist.

With a breadth of experience in all general dentistry, including endodontics, periodontal therapy, prosthodontics and orthodontics he offers full treatment ranges to suit every individual’s needs. He has been fortunate enough to work with specialised endodontists, oral surgeons and orthodontists in order to enhance his skillset, and is particularly keen on achieving great aesthetics.

Throughout his time as a general practitioner he has been fortunate enough to provide simple and complex cosmetic dentistry alike, and always keeps the whole dental team involved to provide thorough treatment.

He has enjoyed teaching and mentoring other dentists and nurses throughout his career, even in the immediate year after his own training!

Elective work in Peru also provided an opportunity to treat patients with a different range of dental problems to those encountered in the UK.

At King’s College University he was awarded for his skills in oral surgery. Confident to expand these skills, he is now currently studying his Implantology Masters, and is hoping to be specialised in this field in the future.

Himesh is a member of:

  • The British Dental Association
  • The Royal College of Surgeons of England
and enjoys keeping up to date with new and interesting innovations in dentistry and technology alike.

Outside of dentistry, Himesh enjoys travelling and dining, and is always up for new experiences. He has a wide interest in music, ranging from classical to contemporary, and has played the trombone and the saxophone in the past. He is also keen on martial arts, having achieved his 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and also teaching since – although nowadays he is branching out and trains for mud runs.
